The beach is dark now, only the distant vibrant light of the lingering afterglow illuminates the scene. The waters of the outgoing tide still glitter with reflected gold as they shiver in the breeze around the feet of an iron man; the tidal effect on the light rippled sand is timeless, the figure could well be real in such magical light.
