DAG400

Antony Gormley's Another Place, Crosby beach 2010
It was a bitterly cold November evening despite the colour of the sky. The sun eased its way down behind the snow covered Welsh hills and, as the earth rotated eastward into darkness, the western sky blazed with an almost tropical intensity despite the cold air. The gap between earth and sky was aflame with the afterglow, the underside of the clouds tinted deep red by the light from our nearest star.
