Hypotrachyna taylorensis
typical on old growth oak or birch. This lichen is a scruffy looking lichen which is seldom fertile and has densely overlapping lobes. Old lobes often hang down and roll up to form tubes giving it its common name of tailed loop lichen. It is restricted to western coastal areas of the UK
